Application and Selection

 

Virginia EPFP invites you to apply if you have:


  • a commitment to personal and professional development of youth and adults;
  • a track record for making things happen — inside and across agencies/organizations;
  • substantive work experiences;
  • a bachelor's degree or equivalent;
  • a full-time professional position;
  • the endorsement of your employing organization.

Selection:

Selection of Virginia Fellows will be determined by program coordinators and the Virginia EPFP Advisory Committee, which includes representatives from the PK-12, high education, governmental, and advocacy communities.

 

Fees and Employer Sponsorship:

The employing agency usually pays the $2,500 fee and program related travel costs to state meetings and the two national meetings. The employer also provides time for onsite and national activities. Some individuals have paid their own fees when agency funding was not available.
